  1. Mōrena Neko,

Wow, I love how you have gone the extra mile and presented this activity as a slideshow. I think the black background really makes the photos stand out. Have you decided on which uniform is your favourite? I think my favourite uniform is the Silver Ferns. I really like how silver fern curves around the front of their uniform.

I like that you have once again included some images in your blog post. Remember, if you are going to use images that you have found online, you need to make sure that you attribute them (give credit) to the owner. Check out our guide to posting images here:

You will need to follow these instructions to earn full points for any Summer Learning Journey activity that has asked you to post an image.

I hope you and your whanau have a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to reading more of your Summer Learning Journey activities soon!

  2. Kia Ora Neko,

Nice to meet you. I hope you are enjoying your summer holidays! We are into our third week with the Summer Learning Journey and it has been so much fun. There has been so many exciting, fascinating and fun blog posts that students have shared and are continuing to create.
The last day of this programme is the 25th of January so there is still plenty of time to get those blog posts in! Remember, you could be winning an iPad and other prizes for your effort in your blog posts, how cool would that be?

You can find all the activities here on our website: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities
You can complete as many of the activities as you like, and in any order. Each activity is worth points, and remember, you can also earn points 2 points for each quality comment that you post on the blogs of other Summer Learning Journey participants. It’s that easy!

Let me know if you need any help at all, that’s what we’re here for :)
I am looking forward to hearing all the beautiful, knowledgeable and diverse ideas that you have to offer and I am also looking forward to learning from you!

  3. Kia ora Neko!

Well done for participating in the Summer Learning Journey! We want to thank you for your efforts with your blogs, you created some awesome Google slides!

I really enjoyed your first activity about New Zealand! You did an awesome animation about Maui throwing his hook into the ocean, we loved it so much that we showed it to our whole team! You really have great potential.

I hope you really enjoy this year! We are looking forward to having you back at the end of this year (December)! Best wishes for you and your whanau.

    See you next summer!
